Held in Downtown Brooklin at Grass Park every year. For those of you new to the area, it is at Cassels Road and Roebuck Street in downtown Brooklin. These streets will be completely closed off in this area to ensure everyone’s safety. The event starts at 10:00 a.m. and usually ends around 4:00 p.m. There is something for everyone, young, old, singles, couples and families. The perfect opportunity for our community to come together for a better community.
While it is true that local businesses will be sponsoring a variety of events, the day is for families and every booth will have something for children. There will be a variety of vendors and artists selling their wares. With back to school comes all the signing up for extra-curricular activities for our children. The Brooklin Annual Harvest Festival allows you One-Stop Shopping, some of which include: the Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Dance Studios, as well as community info tables such as Block Parents, Road Watch and the Brooklin/Whitby Seniors. The Brooklin Youth Program, Dog Bowl Boards, Brooklin’s Farmer’s Market, Brooklin’s Optimist Club and Brooklin’s Horticulture Society are all proud past participants. The Brooklin Mini Idol is also a traditional event at the Harvest Festival.
If you are a vendor who is interested in renting a table, please contact Sue Pitchforth as noted below. Please note that space is limited and applications must first be completed. Confirmation of receipt must be received first as acceptance of application and guarantee of spot at Festival. All vendors accepted must be local and are carefully selected.
